The rooms are small but clean, comfortable and totally adequate for an overnight stay for two people. The price is right for accommodations in a very expensive tourist area at peak season. The owner is very nice and hospitable.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room smelled musty, perhaps get rid of the carpet. A shelf and a hook would be very helpful in the bathroom. Otherwise, fine for a one night stay.

The location of this motel is unbeatable. You can park your car, forget it, and walk absolutely everywhere. The property outside is quaint. The room had a little bit of a smell when we first arrived and we needed to air it out. Otherwise, beds were comfy, washroom was clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be staying here again!

Good place at a good price, right across from a lovely Memorial Park. Sure, it is an older place but the Staff were friendly and helpful and they are working to keep the Motel open. Small stain on the carpet didnt bother me. I would stay again. Thank You.

First let me say I have NEVER EVER given a one star review before. All we expected was a clean comfortable room. Our stay was for a Friday evening. Pros: Perfect location, walking distance to everything in the centre of Bracebridge. Room 116 was at the back of the motel, so away from the road noise. Cons: The first thing that "hit" you was the odour in the room. It smelled like stale smoke, despite the fact that it was a non-smoking room. The room was very dated, but it was the bathroom, that was terrible. It was dirty, there was mold/dark marks on all the silicone. The tub faucet had a constant drip. All the grout on the floor was filthy & there was a cracked tile on the floor, that was uneven & moved. There was a plastic tub mat you could put inside of the tub so you didn't slip, that was icky & should have been thrown out. All walls, doors & baseboards were dirty. I wiped down the handles, light switches & bedside cabinet surface with a wash cloth & it was dirty when I finished. The phone was filthy. I have thrown out better mattresses than what was on the bed's. The a/c unit was so noisy, that along with everything else, we decided at 8:30 pm that we weren't going to stay & dropped the key in the night box & drove home. Our things were in that room less than 6 hours, when we got home all clothing stunk of stale smoke & had to be laundered. I did not talk to the owner, as I knew I would be wasting my time. $200 wasted!

Could be really cute little place with some love and care (and $$). But it's pretty run down. Room had multiple spots that were dirty enough they hadn't been cleaned in weeks (e.g. block of wood the toilet paper holder had been attached to, back ridge of bathroom sink). Linens seemed clean and no bed bugs. Every room's window had an ashtray and chairs in front for smokers. People smoking right outside, so can't leave the windows open for fresh air. Great location.

The property is in a great location, but unfortunately it felt a little run down. The bed linen looked clean but had a few loose hairs on it. We found a dirty sock and child's soother from previous guests. The heating unit was noisy and the bathroom was tired with inground dirt/mould around the bath tub. Location was great right at top of main high street and it was a budget price but I still feel there standards could be higher

Overall the Service upon check in was professional. The room small, decor dated, chipped paint/wall repairs incomplete and cleanliness in bathroom was average. The bed was clean but mattress is due for replacement. We were in area for a concert so the room provided us a cozy, clean place to sleep. The room is in need of a deep clean (baseboards, corners, grout and walls wiped down in bathrooms etc). When decor is dated, it is extra important to be detailed oriented with cleaning protocols.
