"Really liked this hotel. It was easy to get to (with a hire car) and parking was simple. Only the one restaurant on site but it was really tasty- the breakfast was delicious.
Room service can take a while but it's easy to order.
The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and had great water pressure. The water temp would go in and out a little bit which wasn't great but not a big deal. Staff were all helpful and polite.
Location was good too. In one direction were all shops and cafes, in the other was the waterfront and was an easy 10 min walk to the markets on Saturday. "
"Breakfast and Happy Hour topped off our five night stay. Apart from a hiccup with the air-conditioning on our first night, which was attended to promptly, we loved our time here and will return. Close to the centre of Hobart, the location is ideal; the staff (breakfast, reception, bar, domestic) were all very helpful. BEST shower!!! Love the underfloor heating in the bathroom!! Thank you."
"Absolutely fabulous! About the best hotel experience I've had.
However when we arrived (middle of winter), the room temp was 29 dec C. Did not bother us at all. Just turned the air con off & opened a window. Only mentioned this as eco is in the ratings. As the temp throughout the hotel was so warm we did not need to turn the air back on @ all. "
