“Me and my wife came up for Thanksgiving week, the cabin was very nice, and quiet , it has a great view of the mountains and there were a ton of deer that like to hangout in the front yard, and the lake out front has some nice large mouth bass . “This is our third stay and we will be back again. The cabin is so cozy. We walked in and the fire place was going and little xmas trees on both sides. Kitchen has lots of extras pots and pans, and spices. Also, flavors to add to coffee. Cabin is very clean and neat. Watch your head with the spiraling stair case going upstairs. Home owner is wonderful and easy to work with . ”

“This rental was the perfect starting point for some hiking I wanted to do in the area. Mt Rogers (tallest peak in Va) is close by, as are The Channels, which was my focus for this trip. This place can easily host 3-4 people, maybe even 5 if one wants to sleep on the couch. The beds were the best feature, super comfortable, best sleep of my life. You do have to climb up ladders to get to them, they're loft style, but I'd crawl over broken glass to get back to them. There is a sink, a mini fridge……

“We loved our stay.Very cozy and well decorated.We had everything we needed.Very dog friendly and very close to downtown!Walking was around 5 minutes to town and a breeze.The only thing we were dissatisfied in was the hot tub was dirty and cloudy and dirt and mold on the inside of the lid so we weren’t able to use it but we did use the fire pit and it was awesome!We will consider coming back for sure.”
