Perfect Peaceful Family Getaway
Perfect location - not to far from Indianapolis, yet quiet and peaceful. Love the patio and the kids loved the animals. Having two tables in the kitchen area was so nice. There was seating for everyone in one space so you did not feel disconnected. Bedrooms are slightly set off from the gathering spaces which is really nice. Will definitely stay here again!

Great, unique place!
What a delight this property is! The owners are super friendly, easy going and responded quickly to any questions. The home is charming and comfortable and that porch ❤️❤️❤️ We had a blast walking around the property, seeing the animals, kids enjoyed the paddle boat, canoe and even jumped off the dock to swim! My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

Weekend Fun
The place is absolutely adorable and more than accommodating for a family getaway or friends that live in different parts of the country to get together & have a fun weekend. It’s not far from downtown and other areas around the Indianapolis area. The hosts are nice, accommodating people. I would definitely stay again.

Great Place for Large Groups
This is the 3rd year that we have stayed here! Close to the convention center and all things Indy. We love being able to cook meals and play games together as a group. Plenty of space outside for the kids to run around.

Beautiful Farmhouse
What a lovely comfortable home! We often have trouble finding places big enough, this home was perfect. Communication was easy and quick, the house was spotless, and the kitchen was amazing! Our only regret was that we did not have time to visit the petting zoo.

Abundant Outdoor Space
The Cottage had plenty of indoor and outdoor space for our group of seven. Grandchildren and adults alike enjoyed the farm aspect of this property. We appreciated the TP, paper towels, fans in bedrooms, plenty of towels, and large refrigerator. The proximity to Brownsburg and the Indy area was ideal. I must also add that the weekend that we were there, we all felt that the house needed a deep-cleaning. I understand that the owners do some of this in the winter when they are not renting their place, but the guests at the end of the season should experience the same cleanliness as the guests at the beginning of the season.

Indy Family Vacation
Our trip to Brownsburg/Indy was amazing! The house was large enough to accommodate our whole family! The house was clean and had everything we needed! It was well stocked with kitchen items! The farm, trail ride, fishing at the pond, and huge yard to play was amazing and the owners were very polite and kind to us! The house is a short ways away from the amazing children’s museum, Indianapolis zoo, and lots of cooks parks and restaurants! We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend our stay here! Thanks again!

Owners rude and property not well maintained
Was looking for house for bridal party to stay in for weekend and to get ready with hair and make up artist for Saturday for wedding at nearby venue so I needed it to be big enough for bridal party to get ready and pretty enough photographer to take pictures Listing states no events or parties or outside guest so before booking we explained what we were looking for and what listing states and if they would be ok with extras on Saturday morning early afternoon for bridal party to get ready. They was very agreeable and stated it would be no problem. I pay the money like ten months prior then when the day came I received nasty messages on the wedding day asking what was going on it looked to be more than 16 people at the house etc. these messages went on back and forth with me trying to remind them of our agreement prior to my booking until I finally just quit responding. The pictures show beautiful cottage with well groomed yard and well let’s just say it was only too surface clean. And grass was not mowed and bushes not kept up. It was not a place we could take any pictures. Many broken items in house. Door knobs that fall off when touching. Ceiling that had been taped and painted that was sagging like it could fall in anytime and one of the four double beds in house that claims to sleep 16 had broken supports. Was very disappointed with home and property but most of all the owner continuously texting me and upsetting me in my daughters wedding day

Family Fun
Loved the farmhouse. Owners very quick to respond. Plenty of space for our family meet-up vacation. Love the location...country atmosphere with businesses within 5 miles if you need anything. Kids loved the animals and had fun with the paddle boat, canoe and boat. Kitchen is nice and plenty of eating space. House was conveniently laid out for our 4 families plus one.

A wonderful family retreat
This is the second time we have stayed in the cottage on the Damler family farm. The house was perfect for our family retreat with four well laid out bedrooms, a large well-stocked kitchen with a big table for family meals, a spacious family room to hang out in, and a well sized finished basement for extra hang out space. If the weather is nice, you can also take advantage of all of the wonderful activities to do on and around the property. Our children played basketball in the driveway, ping-pong in the garage, fished in the small lake on the property, rode bikes on the B&O trail adjacent to the property, and we also paid for a horse ride on the trails right on the property. There are also plenty of animals for the children to watch and interact with, like goats, pigs, a sheep, cats, dogs, and rabbits. My children adored being around the horses especially. The family lives on the large property as well, and was very friendly and responsive to our requests, including a last-minute request for a trail ride and even taking family photos for us! They are a lovely family. We would definitely recommend staying here and we look forward to our next visit!

Great country spot for family reunion, close to amenities
Rented this house to host family who live nearby for Thanksgiving, sharing with siblings from afar. We were very happy with the decor, hangout spaces, abundance of bathrooms, and very well stocked kitchen. It was easy to set the tables for 14, and there was plenty of room to spread out. Watch the horses and chickens from the wide front porch or take a walk to get a closer look. We plan to be back!
