“The lodge is a wonderful place to get away to birch trees and smell off clean pine air. Our lake view was amazing. The leaves were just beginning to show the onset of fall with few hues of red and orange. We took many walks around the property enjoying the woods and lake. The resort was quiet but people hanging out at the beach or fisherman taking their boats early in the morning. The pool and spa were used a few times. It should open early. The kitchen and dining were stocked to meet our needs....

“Fantastic experience. The home is beautiful, well maintained and close to town. Perfectly set up for a family vacation with multiple generations as it feels like three distinct living areas between basement, main floor and upper level. They have every feature / amenity you need for a memorable family trip - docks, kayaks, fire pit, grill, game room, etc.Lora is a tremendous host. Responsive and helpful with great suggestions & tips for making most out of trip.”

“We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Elkstone. The cabin itself is beautiful - very clean and comfortable for 2 families. We encountered next to no hiccups, but when needed, the owner was very quick to respond to email. The location of the cabin is great - close enough to but far enough from Eagle River. The setting is lovely - very private and serene. We rented a pontoon boat from the Maple View Resort - about a mile away - which guaranteed us access to Pioneer Lake. To get to the...

“Exactly what a quiet week Up North should be. Cabin was well-furnished, five (!!) different boats provided, firewood provided, quiet lake with, from what I could tell, 5 total cabins on it. Almost zero mosquitos, but a good amount of flies by the shore. Hosts escorted us to the property at check-in, which I was not used to, but because it's so far off the road that's really the best way to do it.”
