"Very clean and well appointed house. Every inch of space usable (house & patio). Had some trouble getting a timely response from the owner/manager. This improved halfway thru our 10 day stay. One negative: the beds are very hard. They did bring 1 softer bed but it was never an ideal situation."

"EIn tolles Haus, eingerichtet mit allem, was man braucht und noch viel mehr. Welches Ferienhaus stellt schon 5 Fahrräder und komplette Terrasseneinrichtung zur Verfügung. Dazu noch ein sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. In Herkingen selber ist nicht so viel los, aber mit dem Fahrrad oder dem Auto ist man rucki zucki an den schönsten Stränden und wunderschönen kleinen Städten. Gerne wieder."

"Wir haben den Aufenthalt mit unserem Hund sehr genossen! Die Inneneinrichtung ist eher im Vintage design was uns sehr gefallen hat und es stand auch soweit alles zur Verfügung. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet Kaffeepad-Maschine, Backofen, Spülmaschine etc ... Der Garten ist auch richtig schön und so gut wie nicht einsehbar von außen. Zudem ist er ausbruchssicher was sehr gut für unseren Hund war. Es gibt sehr viele Hasen in der nähe, bei unserer Ankunft saßen direkt zwei im Garten. Also die...

"Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dem gemütlichen Bungalow. Die überdachte Terrasse war im Frühjahr perfekt und in der Hütte selbst haben wir uns wohlgefühlt. Im Garten gibt es sogar 2 Schaukeln und Fahrzeuge für die Kinder, was für große Freude gesorgt hat! Besonders toll fanden wir, dass mehrere Fahrräder im Schuppen stehen, die wir nutzen durften - so konnten wir alle Strände in der Nähe und auch Ouddorp erkunden. Der Kontakt war sehr freundlich und zuverlässig. Leider ist die Hütte...

"The hotel looks very nice and is 10 minutes drive from the lovely town of Oodorp. On arrival I and a couple waited for some time but nobody at reception. Eventually a young lady arrived but when checking in we were told that the restaurants were closed. It was -5C outside so I did not fancy a 30 min walk into town and I was looking forward to a glass of wine with my meal so I drove to an Aldi and bought tapas to eat and a bottle of wine. I decided to be sociable so at 1930 I went down to the bar which was a huge room but the bar consigned to a cluster of bottles in a corner. There was nobody else there but I finally did manage to get a small bottle of beer. Due to the weather outside, the vast emptiness of the room and the incredibly dim lighting, it reminded me of the Shining and I was waiting for Jack Nicholson to put an axe through the door and say 'Here's Johnny'. I returned to my equally dimly lit room and ate cold food in the gloom. By now the wall lights had failed so I was left with a small table lamp and the light from the bathroom. Breakfast was delivered from town and there were cold meats and cheeses but I would have liked a hearty hot breakfast before spending a day working in the freezing cold. I am sure that in good weather the hotel will be busy, vibrant and will have hot food and a proper bar but when I was there this did not apply. When is a hotel not a hotel? When it is a semi dark room and they forgot to put the radiator on in advance of my arrival."
