“We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and secluded cottage. The location was incredibly quiet—just what we needed to unwind and recharge. The cottage itself was spotless, with super comfortable beds that made for restful nights. Fiona, our host, went above and beyond—very responsive and thoughtful throughout our visit. We also really appreciated the many amenities, especially the breakfast items that were ready and waiting for us. A true hidden gem, and we can’t wait to come back!”

“This cottage was so lovely—well equipped & so sweetly decorated. It was right on the bay where we were able to watch the seal, the osprey & eagles fish. The deer & her 2 fawn visited regularly. We had constant birdsong & calls. Hummingbirds also visited regularly. We went on daily walks/hikes. We were close to the grocery store, ice cream & Sturdie Bay Bakery (yum!). Definitely a wonderful vacation!”

“Magical, whimsical, total perfection. Tara and Martin have done such an amazing job of this oasis. Every detail is so thoughtful, the only issue was on our end by not booking another night or two here. It was so nice to come from three nights camping to a place so cozy. “The Bird House is in excellent condition with high quality finishes. It is quiet and feels like a deep woods getaway despite being a short drive to anything and everything.
