Bill Henderson was born 1950 into the Wei Wai Kum First Nation in Campbell River, BC. Since he was a child Bill watched his father create carvings and other art works. His masks, bowls, totem poles, paddles and other carvings are collected all over the world. Location: 2411 Spit Road. (September 2019)

"We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The outside space was so lovely, and the main area of the house was excellent. Huge kitchen with the biggest island I’ve ever seen. The master bedroom downstairs was excellent with lots of space and a very comfy bed. Our only concern was that the rest of the beds were located upstairs in a very bright and open loft. "The staff were amazing! When we arrived, they did not actually have my booking (which I booked using Expedia) but I had the confirmation email. They made sure to calmly go over some options for my family. We had a family loft room booked and they upgraded us to a larger accommodation that would be comfortable for myself and my four kids. House keeping came to our cabin each day to freshen up. The kids loved the outdoor pool, even though it was nothing special. We love the grounds of the resort and the lodge, even though it is old, it has a lot of character. "

"The view off the patio on the website is very accurate. We spent the entire day sitting in the chairs looking at the scenery and enjoying the sun. The rooms were great and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. The owners were helpful in suggesting things to do, though all we really wanted to do is relax. My only complaint about this property is the roads to get to it. The were gravel, had a lot of potholes and the grade into the driveway had quite a slope. This would likely not be a problam for most cars, but I have a custom Mustang that has a custom suspension on it and I bottomed out more times than I am comfortable with. So, infortunately, the likelyhood of us returning is slim. I regret that because it is such a nice place."
