Dear 5 Star Holiday Home in Ega, The surroundings of the house were very beautiful and we enjoyed the location. However, the house itself appeared quite worn and several things were not functioning properly: 1. The trap (siphon) in the small bathroom was so heavily clogged with limescale that we had to remove and descale it ourselves. Water in both the sink and the floor drain drained away very slowly. 2. In the same bathroom, using the shower flooded the floor to such an extent that the water was close to flowing into the living area. This appears to have been an ongoing issue for quite some time, as the bottom of the bathroom door was badly swollen from water damage. 3. The bottom of the shower curtain was black with mold, and the floor squeegee was in the same condition (see photo). 4. In the room opposite the bathrooms, the window could not be tilted open because the window handle was defective. 5. In the same room, neither of the wall lamps next to the bed was working, although the power outlets were functioning. 6. The machine located under the wooden cover in front of the swimming pool ran continuously day and night and was so noisy that it was impossible to use the seating area placed nearby. 7. The felt flooring on the first floor was heavily stained and worn (see photo). Absolut vidunderlig lejlighed, og udsigten var så skøn, at vi sov uden at trække gardinerne for. Selv om natten ville man helst ikke gå glip af den! Fantastisk med badebroen lige for foden af bygningen. Vi syntes også om hele den nye bydel Aarhus Ø med de gode restauranter, madmarked og supermarked. Vi var i kontakt med den hjælpsomme og venlige ejer et par gange, da instruktionerne fra hotels.com og de to bureauer, der håndterer udlejningen, var kaos. Det var f.eks. kun ejeren, der kunne fortælle os den præcise adresse på lejligheden. På hotels.com står, at der er tre soveværelser, og at udtjekningen er kl 8 - og kl 11! I selve lejligheden står der kl 10. Og der er kun to soveværelser. Vi fik at vide at nøglerne skulle hentes hhv 50 km væk og i en nøgleboks i kælderen. Og så videre...
