8.2/10 Very Good! (1,007 reviews)
The positives of this property/hotel are: decent location, clean/modern room on the inside, refrigerator in room, priced competitively.
The negatives are: pile of trash next to front steps of property (for 5 days or maybe longer since I checked out), no room cleaning/trash removal for duration of stay (particularly challenging for longer stays), thin walls/noisy (both internal and external, especially with people coming and going all day/night for various activities and if you have a front facing room), no staff on sight.
Overall, the price was right, but the trash/noise/lack of cleaning made for a less positive experience.

Great apartment to stay within walking distance of the main streets and bars. Food in Iceland is a bit expensive, so we stayed here and made our own breakfast. The apartment offered plenty of space and it had all the utensils and dishes we needed. Clean, accessible and great communication with the host.

9.6/10 Exceptional! (331 reviews)
This was such a neat experience! Breakfast being included was awesome. Great setup for a big group as there was a middle area to meet up. Views are spectacular. Only complaint was initially accessing the building. But once we were setup, it was great.

9/10 Wonderful! (87 reviews)
This is basically camping in heated heavy plastic tents, great heated beds and only 2 toilets for the entire "campground" (7 other "buuble tents". I'm an avid camper so enjoyed it. If you're looking for seriously dark skies (which I was), be warned: there are nearby greenhouses with very bright lights on all night long. There is a shared kitchen, but stovetop didn't work so only sink & refrigerator

"Bedroom was nice, clean, simple. Dining and living room area good. All of the kitchen was in very poor condition (counters not wiped, fridge not wiped, appliances seemed very old and had stains and seemed unsanitary, cutlery/dishware also old). Bathroom was too outdated with very small shower. Driving ..."
