"My wife and I visited Emerald Villas & Suites in late September. We felt like we were on a postcard in the Ionian Islands. It has beautiful panoramic sea views with exquisite traditional Greek stone architecture with cozy/contemporary elegance. The Villas are blissfully secluded, yet steps from adventure! The area feels authentically Greek with sleepy tavernas serving fresh grilled octopus and meze, winding paths with amazing views, and virtually zero crowds. At check-in, we were greeted by Irene, our host. She walked us through the villa, sharing insider tips on hidden coves and sunset spots, and places to eat that offer delivery to our front door. It was the kind of welcome that wasn't service, but heartfelt hospitality. She made us feel like family...she was phenomenal! Emerald Villas & Suites didn't just host us, we left there with sun-kissed skin, hearts full, and a piece of Zakynthos etched into our souls. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. "As a last minute necessity after our flight was cancelled we were delighted to find the Meandros hotel and spa. The staff were brilliant, so friendly and helpful. The spa was a huge win after spending 7 hrs in the airport going nowhere. Food was tasty and served with a huge smile. In all a good end to a very long disappointing day. "
