“The Culvert is an atypical hotel accommodation. The cylinder shaped cocoons are clean and fun to stay in and the staff is very friendly. This is an open air concept with everything, except you room, being outside. Premises are located on a hill which means a lot of stairs - and they are no longer in perfect condition. The two pools are quite nice, but the furniture around them are showing signs of over use while cushions and mattresses are missing or engorged with water. The dining is quite……
“Excellent AC in room. Room described on here as "sea view" turns out to be "partial sea view", which is the description used on the hotel's own website.
Staff very good, especially in restaurant which has a separate vegan menu with some good options.
Some evidence that maintenance has suffered, such as a missing tile on pool and water leaking through to children's pool. Water leaking from toilet handle in room. Signs direct to a spa that no longer exists.”
