Friendly & smiley staff. Our TV was not working the first night but it was fixed the next day. Location is a bit far from Kandy city but it is quite and comfy. He completely disregarded the cancellation policy written on Expedia and refused to refund our payment. He ended up throwing a ruppee note equivalent to 1/3 of what we were owed to ‘make us go away’.Expedia have been essentially uncontactable with regard to this discrepancy between what is written on Expedia and what management says sending automated email responses to our attempt to contact them. Only downside is that the hotel is a fair way to the city centre so have to rely on tuk tuks or taxis. Note that this hotel is not in a central location, but is in what appears to be an upscale neighbourhood close to the river. Everything about the hotel appears to be new and modern with great en-suite bathrooms and comfortable beds. Currently no onsite restaurant, but food can easily be ordered in by the very friendly staff.
