"Probably not a busy season. When I check in nobody was at the reception. Only after I called out did a guy half-asleep came out from nowhere. Nobody helped me with the suitcases. This are services what I expected from a decent hotel"
"Lovely hotel, with excellent Japanese breakfast, and kind and helpful staff always willing to go out of their way to help bewildered foreign children. (They even let us check in early when they saw how exhausted my son was.) Rooms also very reasonably priced!"
"Our goal for our trip to Japan was to hike Mount Fuji, but one of the unexpected highlights was our stay at the Kappo Ryokan Uoichi! Post-hike, we moved from Tokyo to Osaka with a stop at the Ryokan in Shimada. Two families (eight of us) stayed at Kappo Ryokan Uoichi and had a wonderful time. The building is a 150-year-old restaurant, and the stay included a shared bedroom with eight futon beds, an adjacent family room, a private bathroom, and a shared onsen. "Staff is super nice, they offered free pick up from Yaizu station to the hotel! There are treats and drinks provided at no extra costs.
Onsen are good!
The little cat in the hotel is a surprise bonus point for us!"
"Staff were very helpful when i checked in here. I did get the impression they dont get too many overseas travellers but this did not stop them from being friendly and providing the service they would provide anyone staying there. This place also advertised a public bath available which i regretfully did not use as i was not there long enough. I was only here for one night on a stop but when i took a stroll around the neighbourhood i felt very safe and there were plenty of convenience stores....
"My stay at Route Inn was what I needed which was a place to stay for the few nights I visited with a friend who lives in the area. The hotel is a bit dated but the room was comfortable and I enjoyed the breakfast. "

"Чистые номера, есть все необходимое, красивый панорамный вид на горы. Приятный сервис, вежливый и внимательный персонал. Не понравилось что laundry находится в другом корпусе, куда двери закрыты, нужно ждать когда откроют выходящие люди или звать персонал с ресепшена. Так же нет даже кресел во втором корпусе для ожидания окончания стирки/сушки. Рядом есть аптека, супермаркет и пару ресторанов."
