"This is a great hotel / pub in a very good location and ideal for touring Aberdeenshire. Only about 20 mins from Aberdeen airport. The rooms are absolutely excellent and very spacious The bar and restaurant area is very welcoming and for those who enjoy whiskey there is an extensive range. The host Stuart is wonderful, very engaging and takes time to ensure all guests / customers are satisfied and enjoying themselves."

"This is a really nice hotel - very well-laid out with good parking and access. Within the lobby area are various games and activities which help to occupy younger guests. The staff are very friendly and supportive and overall the atmosphere is great. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and very tidy. We had an issue with disturbance from another guest’s room which, once flagged, was fairly dealt with by the hotel team. We make periodic trips to Aberdeen and will continue to visit this hotel when doing so. "

"I stayed at this 3-star hotel and honestly, it was great for what I needed. The room was super minimal—no unnecessary stuff, just clean lines and a calm vibe. But even with the simple setup, it was really comfortable. The bed was cozy, the space felt fresh, and everything just worked. It’s not trying to be fancy, but that’s kind of the point. It’s quiet, relaxing, and easy. The staff were friendly and helpful without hovering. If you’re into a clean, no-fuss place that still feels really good to stay in, this is it."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Copthorne Hotel. Met by friendly staff and received an upgrade. Although early a room was ready so were able to get into our room. Everything was really fresh and clean. The bed was really comfy. Also had wifi and live football if wanted to watch which you don't often get. Breakfast was really fresh and nice tasty produce. Great choices. "

"Very friendly and welcoming staff. Room was very comfortable and clean and had an iron and ironing board in the wardrobe. A great hot breakfast, which was buffet style. Arriving back very late from a wedding reception, snacks were available near the front desk. The location of this hotel is excellent for onward journeys and there is good parking. I would stay here again. Happy to recommend a stay here."

"The reception staffs are friendly especially Susan who is very welcoming. The room is clean and spacious. All the staffs are very welcoming. The hotel is located in a very good location not far from the wedding venue. Good value for money."

"Check in was effortless with a nice chat with the receptionist. I had upgraded my room for this visit and it was really comfortable with a large bed and a coffee machine, but other than this the standard room I usually have is very good. As ever I used the gym and the pool which are both really good for a hotel. Only problem was, as it's the school holidays the kids were enjoying themselves in the usually tranquil pool,lol. There is an adult only period in the pool from 7pm. Food and service in the restaurant was as good as ever. The hotel also has good size carpark which is charged for but not a big cost. This really is an ideal base for visiting Aberdeen. "
