Kenova Vacations from $973

The carpet had a large worn patch. The toilet paper holder had fallen off the wall but not reattached. The fixtures were covered with rust. Employees gathered outside our window to talk and smoke. The door to the stairwell would loudly bang shut instead of gently closing. And a sheet of plywood would have been more comfortable than the so called mattress on the bed.

The common areas were a bit dirty. I think this hotel is a popular choice for pet owners because we saw and heard multiple dogs while we were there. Unfortunately this is what led to there being several small piles of dog doo between the front desk and the elevator, including one that already had a shoe print in it. I told the front desk clerk about it and they said thank you, but I could tell that it was probably making them second-guess their career choices. Room itself was ok, but had the same weak lingering smell as the halls.
