"If you are looking for just a room at a reasonable price, this is for you. The bathroom is very tiny and in need of a remodel. The bedroom and bath were both very clean. The bed was comfortable, but the pullout single bed is not at all. Most pullouts aren’t, but this goes to a new level. "I was in town with my teenage daughter for a lacrosse tournament. All the hotels were booked, so we thought this would be a good option. IT WAS NOT. First of all, the blue room really only sleeps 1 comfortably. The bed is a double, not a queen. The pull out couch is very uncomfortable, basically metal springs with some padding over it. "Had an excellent time at this beautiful and secluded property on the Chester River. Although very private and a lot of outside space to roam, we were still very close to all that Chestertown has to offer. So, it was the best of both worlds. Plenty of amazing scenery and wildlife to enjoy around the property, and Beth is an excellent communicator. "This house was the perfect affordable option for a coaching staff taking a team to the DE sport complex. Way more affordable than the hotels in the area and definitely cleaner. Beautiful field view in the back yard that reminded us of home. Will definitely go back!"
