Wat Nong Wang, the tallest temple in E-san, overlooks Bung Kaenakorn, a sizable lake and surrounding park. Visitors to the temple may climb to the 9th floor to observe the bustle of the city or to pray. The way to the top winds past historic offerings and moralistic murals as well as the personal effects of important monks. The view is worth the climb but if you're tall, watch your head. #architecture #stunningstructures
