“This cabin was great for our weekend away. Fishing was great & the cabin was cozy! We played games on the back patio afterdark and had a beautiful light show from the lightening bugs. The location was perfect for some quiet family time together on the river. Would rent again!”

The arrival directions provided by the hosts ensured that we had no difficulties locating the property and the check-in process was simple. Everything in the cabin worked well, especially the A/C which is always my main concern. We stayed here to be close to an event at Whitewater Ampitheatre and we will definitely stay here again if we come back for another concert. Thank you!”

This place is a dream, and is located in the quiet area, yet so close to everything! It was so easy to understand everything and get information. “The outdoor space is amazing! There is so much wildlife to see and the water is clean and mostly clear. We ate outside at the picnic tables for every meal and the kids had a great time playing with the provided inner tubes. Checkout was easy, communication was great. I only wish I’d known beforehand about the septic tank so I would have brought wet wipes and ziplocks. We had a great time.”

“Loved the little cottage, was close to town and minutes away from my sons place! Judy was the sweetest host, felt like weve known her for years! We encountered quite a storm while we were there and lost power and all was a mess outside but was still a great stay. Judy graciously offered to send us to a hotel but we refused, we wouldn't have it any other way, we will definitely be coming back to enjoy our time with Judy and the nice cottage!”

“We stayed for 5 days for the 2024 eclipse. The cabin and surrounding land are terrific. Perfect porch to sit on and enjoy the views and birds. We did have some suggestions for improvement. First, only 1 dish towel was provided for a 5-day stay. Ditto only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 3 adults. Shaving razors & shaving cream were provided yet we had to restock the TP. There was no information on how to inflate the mattress on the main-floor sofa bed & no indication of where its linens might be. We...

“The property fit the needs our our family, however there were several things that left us a bit disappointed. Only 4 rolls of toilet paper, no trash bags, 1 roll of Paper towel,no salt & pepper or aluminum foil, baggies, hot tub connect to pool did not stay heated and the pool was dirty. Maybe a solar cover would have been nice. Some of the ceiling fans in main house did not work or we were told they make a loud noise.
