It is only about 150 feet from the beach if you take the path that runs from the backyard through the neighbor's yard and is overgrown with pricker bushes and small cactus plants. The prickers stick to everything and hurt like hell! You end up carrying them into the house with you and when you try to take one out of your foot it gets stuck in your finger! OUCH! We had to leave our shoes outside in order to avoid stepping on any in the house barefoot. That was our biggest complaint. Other than that we had a good time. I would recommend to the owner that they try to do something about the prickers and cactus in the yard (which by the way you can not do anything in the yard because of these) and the pathway to the beach. Nice covered porch, close to the beach. Needs a good cleaning between guests and a deep clean at least once a month. Other than that the place was perfect for a small family. Would suggest a small gas grill instead of charcoal grill, time for new bedding and towels. We always bring our own so we were ok. Kitchen had all you need, and a Keurig. Everything at the house was as expected and more. The beds were super comfy and the beach was easy to access (although we didn’t see the beach as much as wanted because of rain).
