It's a good for honeymoon couples. There's nothing for sightseeing. I don't know why it's so famous.
There are no shops or restaurants nearby.
One has to dine in resort's restaurant only. Food is good

Ripples Resort made our Kerala vacation. The food, service, and accommodations were all excellent. We stayed for five nights.
We had a bungalow near the canal. It was spacious, with a big living room, a bedroom, a small dressing area (I think), and an outdoor shower. It felt peaceful and private.
We did yoga on the last three days. I wish we’d started earlier. Deepa, the instructor, checked in with us and built routines that worked for our level. I’m not usually into yoga, but I looked forward to it each morning.
The food was everything I’d hoped for—authentic Kerala dishes, full of flavor. One morning, I even got to try sweet toddy. That was a treat.
There were bugs, but picaridin saved the day. I've stayed in other resorts in the area. I'm going back to this place.

Amazing stay
We stayed four nights and had an amazing time. Sindhu looked after us and we did the daily boat trip and made use of the bikes to explore the area. The room was lovely and shower powerful and hot. Saila
In the restaurant was so lovely always helpful and always smiling nothing was too much trouble for her thank you. Ayyappan the pool man made sure we had towels and also arranged the kayaking for us and was very helpful and friendly man. We had a wonderful stay here and can not recommend the hotel highly enough so relaxing just perfect stay and the staff are so helpful and friendly.

The property is good and located in the best of the entire stretch of Kumarakom. Rooms are spacious and very well maintained.
Restaurant service needs to improve, staff are not courteous and friendly.
Used the spa Kerala massage service, it was not a great service and better to check the pricing and services provided before opting for a treatment

Großartig! Jeden Abend gibt es eine Gratissonnenuntergangsbootsfahrt. Das Freiluftbadezimmer hat mir besonders gefallen. Nicht zu vergessen, der Infinitypool. Manchmal gab es kleinere Kommunikationsprobleme weil das Personal meist nur gebrochen Englisch spricht und ich kein Hindi kann.
