Excellent superb service by every single member of the staff . This particular ritz Carlton should be recategorized as a 7 star hotel (if there is not such a rating , one should be started) instead of 5 star. This property deserves all the praise and then some - especially their staff and service.

In the true Ritz-Carlton tradition, the R-C Kyoto upholds the highest standards of customer service and provides a 5 star facility. We asked for help from the concierge regarding a tour guide and what to see and he responded with great advice and helped us make a great connection.

I will rate this hotel as 4.5 stars rather than perfect 5 stars. The minor complaints are the breakfast and the location. The Japanese breakfast here is not as flavorful as the one I have in Tokyo (another 5 stars hotel). The location is far away from high end shopping malls and the surrounding area looks like a very average neighborhood.

出張で2泊3日で滞在したのですが、とても素晴らしい滞在期間となりました。スタッフさんの対応、レストランのシェフの味と接客、全てに於いて流石の一言としか言いようがございませんでした。 もし改善点を上げるとしたら、私は喫煙者なので館内に喫煙ルーム等の物を設置して頂けたら最高でした。どうしてもわざわざ毎回着替えて外に出て行かなければならないで。 後、バスタオルが大きいのは良いのですが質が良いのかかなり重たく使い勝手が余り良くなかった様に思います。 と、言っても上記の２点とも私の単なる我儘ですので特に問題点と言う訳ではないと思います。 それ以外は本当に素晴らしくお仕事で滞在だった為ゆっくりと、とまでは行かなかったでしたがそれでも滞在期間中本当に満喫出来ました。 次回また京都へ行く事がある際はまた利用したいと思いましたし今度はもっと時間を作って満喫したいと思いました。

最高のおもてなし

チェックインからチェックアウトまで文句なし。 スタッフがどこにいてもいいタイミングで声を掛けてくれて京都のホテルでは一番。 鴨川がみられる部屋は東山からのぼる月の景色も最高でした。

日本以外でもお世話になった事ありますが、スタッフ全員が、リッツを愛してる事を感じます。 大変落ち着き、チェックインからアウトまで、一歩も外に出ませんでした。 また宿泊したいです。
