"Lovely, cosy hotel in a picturesque area. Every member of staff was pleasant, friendly and helpful. The food was superb, and not overly priced for such a beautiful place. Our room - no. 3 - was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. We had two nights here, just as a little break away for me and my husband. We both said we would love to go back. There's some beautiful walks, nature reserves, etc in and around Colne, so the Alma will be a great base. "

We had a lovely time, enjoyed the hot tub and had a lovely pub meal at the Hare and Hounds in Lothersdale. The views from the cottage are lovely, even in the October gloom, it must be stunning when the sun comes out"
