"This was our third stay at the hotel. The building is unassuming from the outside, but very nice with lots of character inside (including rooms). Great

and helpful staff. The inclusion of a buffet dinner in the room price was a nice and rare bonus - certainly saved us a bunch of kroner. Everything is within walking distance, but that probably holds for other hotels in Uppsala. I would return for a fourth stay without hesitation!"

Once checked in however, the room is perfectly adequate, and, as it turned out, acceptably quiet, given that there is a pub downstairs and it was a weekend.

"Perfectly located for Stockholm Central station and transportation by rail, metro, tram to connect across the city. Hotel room was smallish but perfectly functional and comfortable. Room window faced into restaurant atrium. Hotel staff attentive and efficient, breakfast excellent, and High Bar is a nice place to relax or for a night cap."
