A comfortable, no frills stay with friendly staff. The automatic check-in didn't work despite having the booking number but staff were friendly and soon sorted out the room. It is a large hotel with very very long corridors!

Overall, I thought this hotel served our needs well, but there were surprises. I reserved the “Economy Double Room” and it turned out to be the smallest hotel room I’ve ever seen. In fact, I cruise regularly, and I’ve never seen a cruise cabin this small. One side of the bed was right next to the wall with the window and there was minimal open space at the head and foot of the bed. If the person on the window side of the bed wants to get up, they must climb over the other person. The room had none of the common amenities (such as telephone, safe, etc.) On the other hand, the walk-in shower was quite good and had a door that closed fully to prevent water spreading into the bathroom. The location of the hotel was perfect for our needs. It was an easy walk to the main train station, to restaurants, and to fast food (Burger King and McDonald’s). There is no restaurant in the hotel itself. This was the first time I’ve seen self-check-in for a hotel. A workstation allows you to complete the process and create your own room key. I made a slight mistake when checking in, but there was someone available to help me to fix the problem. Checking out just involved leaving the key in the box provided. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.
