Lake Tyers Tours

This is a bit of a conundrum. It's a great hotel, big rooms, all in very good order, very reasonably priced, and in an excellent location for central Melbourne. So that's all really good, and the staff is also super helpful. But they have a nightclub in the building which makes a lot of noise every Friday night and Saturday night until 5.00 am. They make you aware of this, offer earplugs, and also make you sign that you are aware of this. But even on the sixth floor at the front of the building -- more or less as far away from the nightclub as possible -- I was still woken up several times by the noise, and ended up trying to sleep with my noise cancelling headphones on, which is not comfortable. So this is a wonderful hotel from Sunday till Friday, but not for Friday night or Saturday night.

Fabulous location. MOA staff incredibly helpful from booking to checking out. The apartment had everything we needed and really felt like home.
