The location was great right in front of the park where the paragliders land and with a view of the snow capped mountains. Fifteen minutes walk from both interlaken east and west stations. Halal food places nearby. Inside the hotel looked nice and clean though the rooms were very basic. The front of the building however looked awful...really run down and I was shocked when I saw it. The photos on the listing only show the building at night in the dark with lights on so you can't really tell. It's a shame because it really lets the hotel down. Also the breakfast buffet had very limited options considering it wasn't a cheap hotel. I was quite disappointed because I had expected more.

Pros - Overall, the apartment was clean and modern. It is spacious with enough storage for our belongings. Convenient location and come with strong working A/C, great feature in summer; also having washer, dryer and functioning kitchen are good features. Cleaners come in everyday to help wash dishes, tidy up, etc. which was nice. Cons - Dryer was not functional and had to self fix. Shower tiles were grimy and moldy.

No AC was a problem…no shower in our room either….beds were hard and not comfortable. staff was friendly, room was clean.

To reiterate my rating based on our first impression: excellent location, beautiful, spacious architecture, great amenities, helpful and friendly staff, good food and hours of entertainment watching paragliders sailing into the park across the street. My wife and I agreed that this is the best hotel we have ever stayed at in our 37 years of travel together. Well done. We’ll recommend your hotel to everyone wee encounter who plan to travel in the area. Thanks for a wonderful 4 days.
