The yard (and all others on the road) could use some attention. Could just be a thing in South Dakota, but for someone that is hyper sensitive about their yard, it was difficult not to find a lawnmower and clean it up. The house had all the necessities of home which was perfect. Loved the washer and dryer. Additional seating would have been nice. We had 4 adults and 3 of us had to sit on the couch while the other had to sit in a chair in the corner. Downstairs bedroom should have a queen bed instead of a full size. Enjoyed the views and the quietness of the area. We saw deer almost every morning. Not an ideal location with a motorcycle but we made it work. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend the rental. Check in process was super easy. Property Managers were very responsive to inquiries as well. We enjoyed drives throughout the Black Hills. It is located in a very scenic area and is quiet and secluded. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with towels and other essentials. Groceries and other items we needed were available just a short drive away in Lead. Cell phone service was excellent but WiFi was slow. The location is in a housing development but it is the last cabin at the end of the road so it feels very private, surrounded by trees--the hot tub is even on the side of the cabin without neighbors. We stayed here in the winter and we had no problem staying warm with the wonderful fireplace. The address on the outside of the cabin was a little difficult to see when initially looking for the cabin, but we had no problems getting in once we got there. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The hot tub water could be changed out, but not sure what the stipulations are on doing that in winter.
