“We had a good stay overall and the location was great. The host was very helpful, responsive, and quick to assist whenever needed, which we really appreciated. One small suggestion would be regarding the heating — it didn’t seem to work very effectively, as cool air was still coming in despite adjustments to full heat. Additionally, some pantry items like spices appeared old or expired, so we didn’t use them. It might be helpful to have unopened essentials such as salt and pepper available. We……

“I contacted the host (through the app) when I arrived because the room was very cold. The A/C was on and there was no thermostat. Additionally, there is a large gap under the door that lead into the lobby of the home. I had to shove bags under it to try to create some kind of seal. I slept in my clothes because the room was so cold and there were no additional blankets. I never heard back from the host, so the next day I called. I left a message with an answering service. “We stayed at this location for 2 nights prior to our cruise leaving from Port Liberty. The owner was very helpful in assisting us in finding some tourist resources for NYC. We were pleasantly surprised by some of the included extras! They really made our stay enjoyable. ”

“Room was clean had a nice view, the only downsides were we expected by the photos it was more than a room and a bathroom, that the photos suggested it had a private area for sitting down but I realized when we got there it was common area. At night it was quite cold l, so we did have to get another blanket, and the shower took a while to heat up, but overall for a place to spend the night and be close to amenities, it worked for us :) ”
