Awful. This place has gone way down hill:
1. Walked into the room and met with a very weird smell. Was like a very harsh disinfectant or cleaner but it permeated the whole room to the point where my coffee wound up tasting like it.
2. The deadlock didn’t work. It was like specifically made to not function with a piece of materiel screwed down across the bolt
3. A dirty T shirt was left in the bathroom by previous occupants.
4. A person was sleeping on the ground outside the side entrance where the door was jammed open. This was about 9 pm. A staff member saw me trying to close the door and said to leave it propped. I said “no, there a person sleeping out there!” The next night the door was closed but didn’t function when using room key. We had to walk all the way around to the front.
5. There were insects in our room. Spider looking things.
6. The TVs all went out Friday night and did not work again until sometime Saturday well after we left for the day. It was at minimum 16 hours.
There was just a general lack of maintenance and shoddiness. It was parents weekend at UD and they took well advantage of the parents bc the bill was NOT cheap.
