Located on one of the highest ridges overlooking Lexington, the house sits alone on 10 acres, only one mile from Main Street. There are neighbors - in the distance.
By day enjoy the fabulous views of the surrounding mountains, with the lights of town twinkling in the distance each evening. Relax on the screen porch, which seems suspended over the tree tops.
There are 3 bedrooms: the master on the main floor with it's own large private bath, and two queen bedrooms on the lower level sharing a separate private bath. There is a sleep sofa in the study with a powder room conveniently nearby.
It's a great house for entertaining with the living room, dining room, and large covered deck all adjacent to the kitchen. On the deck is a gas grill (with full gas tanks) and several tables and chairs, from which to enjoy the view.
The house is on Old Farm Road, which is also a favorite walking and jogging route for many locals. Feel like you are away from it all, with neighbor's chickens clucking in the distance. Yet, in moments, be downtown shopping, touring, going to VMI, W&L or the Virginia Horse Center.

Wonderful Stay
My husband Kevin and I are so grateful for the professionalism, kindness and hospitality shown us during our stay at this lovely retreat on Old Farm Road. The house was pristinely clean, comfortable and fully stocked with everything we needed. The mountain views from our bedroom window and decks are outstanding. Amazing Views
This property and the owner are amazing. Vicki was very accommodating with last minute changes. This property has the most amazing views and outdoor decks and other areas to enjoy them. There is plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. It was an amazing stay, and I will definitely be back again!

Lovely farmhouse

Parents' Weekend Perfection

Old Farm Road - Highly Recommend!
Our family very much enjoyed our second stay at Old Farm Road. The home is situated on a lot of acreage with lovely views of pastureland and the mountains, and yet the location is perfect for driving into Lexington in a few minutes time to walk around, dine, and shop. The home is spacious and immaculate, and we loved the spaciousness of the covered deck and the opportunity to have our meals outside.

Best of both worlds!
Nice and quiet on lots of property with fantastic views, yet still very close to town and shops. The house was clean and comfortable - the bed and pillows especially. We were there for an extended stay so I did plenty of cooking and the kitchen had absolutely everything! The wi-fi was perfectly adequate for casual use and even streaming shows, but if you plan to work there and need to use teleconferencing or use multiple devices, you should have a work around like tethering to your phone. Great stay!

The house was very clean and comfortable. The arrangement of bedrooms on both floors is great for families. It has beautiful views and is also close to Lexington - great location. The owner was easy to communicate with and very flexible. We had a great stay!

Excellent stay!
We visited Lexington with our family to attend a wedding and found 350 Old Farm Road to be the perfect place to stay. The views were absolutely lovely and the house was immaculate and spacious. We were out in the country yet could be in the heart of Lexington in just a few minutes. The easy drive to hiking trails such as House Mountain was a great bonus. We hope to head back for another stay in the not too distant future!!

Beautiful views from this home of the nearby valley and only a 5 minute ride to restaurants and amenities of Lexington. 20 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway in other direction. Wifi was fast as if we were in town, but we were remote on this hilltop home nestled in the valley. Country feel with wildlife and trees everywhere including the deer, hawks, and black walnut trees. We enjoyed zipping into Lexington for food, ice cream, and viewing historic campuses and downtown and then back out to the home for our private mountain retreat. Hosts were very helpful and kind. We will be back!

Perfection!
Two couples in our 60’s reunited here for a beautiful September weekend. The house is super clean, well equipped and quite large. The beds are really comfortable. The owners are the nicest people you have ever met. We enjoyed a lot of outside time on the deck. When you are here it is hard to believe that town is so close. The best of both worlds. I would absolutely recommend this wonderful house for a stay in Lexington. We will be back!

Lovely home, deceivingly spacious
This was the perfect stay for our family. The screened in porch provided a beautiful view. I especially loved the fact that there was only one TV! The family spent time together talking, playing & eating around the table. No digital distractions this weekend!

Brown House up on the Hill
We were so impressed with the care taken and personal touches in this home. You can tell the owners take pride in making sure everything is just right....clean-clean!! We loved sitting on the back porch admiring the view.......heard sheep & saw deer! Very quick drive to town too! A great stay!!
