"Great hotel for visiting St. Lawrence University and 1,000 Islands region. Room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and clean with all the usual amenities. Nice breakfast buffet with hot and cold items. Very pleased with my brief stay and highly recommend this hotel."

"I always enjoy staying at the Stonefence. They are upgrading the pool area so that wasn't available to swim in, but the beautiful river was! I hope that opening the restaurant will work out for them (they were doing a "soft opening" during the stay). I loved my lunch out on the patio, reading my book and seeing the river."
