“We had a lovely one night stay whilst walking on Gower. Rooms are smartly appointed and comfy, in the evening there is an excellent small plates menu on offer plus ice cream parlour. Popular with locals so had a nice atmosphere, but by 10.30pm the crowds had gone and we had a quiet night's rest. Ideal for Wales Coast path walkers.”

“We booked at The Town House Brecon as we were attending the Hay Festival nearby. The welcome we received was fantastic, the room was lovely with a big comfortable bed and we slept better than we had in ages. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and there was an honesty bar in the cosy lounge area. We would highly recommend this lovely B&B and would happily book to stay again.”

“The people who run this B&B went out of their way to make me feel welcome and to make sure I had everything I needed. Room was basic but clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was not ensuite, but was assigned just to me and was across the landing. Two lovely, small dogs greeted me on my arrival: if you are afraid of dogs, this may be an issue. Things to improve? A cafetiere of ground coffee would have been appreciated at breakfast and individual packets of coffee and sugar in room, rather...

“Helen & Matt are first class hosts and The Mill offers a peaceful, relaxed break in beautiful surroundings. As many others have said, breakfast is of hotel quality and freshly cooked to order. For our evening meals we took an easy 11 mile drive to Llandeilo where there were several options. Visiting National Botanic Gardens was easy (once we used a map and ignored SatNag!) and that's an excellent day trip. We rarely visit the same place twice, however, we wouldn't hesitate to return to The Mill...

“Lovely location, with a restaurant and a pub within walking distance, and a 24 hour laundrette at the service station just down the road. The room was very comfortable and the facilities included a kitchen, a dining area with a lovely view, and lounge with a large TV. The owners were friendly, helpful and gave good information on things to see and do.”
