“This lodge is just lovely. It is located on a small sheep farm which was a great bonus. The sheep are on the fields like 6 feet from your door and they had just had babies! There are pheasants too. The lodge is well equipped and the beds comfy. The heating is really good; had to turn it down at times. The views are outstanding and on a clear night you can see so many stars. “This was our first time staying here and it certainly won't be our last. The shepherd's hut is beautifully decorated and has such a cosy and comfortable feel to it. The under floor heating kept it lovely and warm too despite the snow outside (which also made it super pretty). “Fantastic nights stay in the peacocks Shepards hut! wish we were staying longer and will definitely be back! small and secluded with beautiful views! friendly hosts.
