"Really clean hotel with all the amenities you need. Basic but it’s what you pay for. The location is ideal as it’s very central. Was kindly upgraded to a private bathroom too and the 10% discount for the restaurant is a bonus which was excellent food. The woman on reception was very helpful and kind too. Overall an excellent experience. "

"Our 3 kids enjoyed the pool and the restaurant was excellent. It was also very handy having the option to reserve your bakery order for pickup each morning along with take out pizzas. Very comfortable 3 nights and the town of Ascona was lovely"

Durch das Ticinoticket sind alle Örtlichkeiten im Tessin super und kostenlos mit den Öffentlichen erreichbar. Alle im Hotel sind sehr freundlich. "Loved the hotel. Lakeview from our balcony was just relaxing. Staff was great; helped with auto parking arrangements and was informative. Our room was outstanding. Room size, as expected, was a little small but the way furniture was laid out—maximized every inch making it easy with luggage! The entire hotel was clean and updated. Highly recommend."

"Absolutely stunning part of the hniverse. Ideal for humans. Make sure you get a lake facing room with a balcony and so on as I just stopped off for a nap and just took a sungle room without balcony but the view was spectacular through the window. Unfortunately there was some type of office motivational meeting for a company when I visited so all the name badges gave me Betty Ford flashbacks. It was extremely peaceful though, breakfasting was mediocre, bed was very comfortable and showering and...

"Good location for the Moon & Stars festival. Nicely decorated and very clean. No reception so you get an online check-in form the day before but I didn't so I had to ask for it - that was slightly intense. When checking out, you're supposed to pay city tax at the restaurant at the ground floor. In my case, the staff were so busy and I waited for at least 20 minutes to get it sorted. That was the only down side staying at this hotel. "

"Great location near train station, Lake Maggiore, Grand Piazza. Owner opened hotel a year ago and renovations are ongoing. He and staff are very kind and helpful. While our room was small, the bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the view sitting on the balcony. Nice breakfast too. "
