Getting Ice was a major problem during our entire stay. They only have 2 machines for the entire hotel and they were out of ice or very low everytime we tried to get some. They need one or 2 additonal machines.
The Roku TV was set on closed captioning and generic remote would not let us turn it off. Desk clerk came up and attempted to do it, but had to go get numerous remotes and finally found a true Roku remote that would work the TV. He was very helpful, but it was time consuming when we just wanted to relax and watch TV before bed.

Beautiful historic property run by two artists who are great hosts. Conveniently located to many Bourbon Trail stops. The master’s suite with the whirlpool tub is incredible.

"Clean sheets and a decent breakfast is the only ok with Microtel which is constantly "undergoing renovations." Translation slap some fresh paint on walls and pull up old carpet.
