"Large adjacent parking lot and easy check-in. Clean and spacious room with good amenities. Breakfast featured homemade brown bread, which was a treat. Great pub just across the street and the Blue Pool nearby. "
"I thought this hotel was perfectly placed in Kenmare. It is a very nice and cozy property with very firendly and helpful staff. They reached out to me ahead of time to ask if I needed a dining reservation and procured a table at the best place in town."

"I stayed at The Lake Hotel for 4 nights in September and had a fantastic time. It was my second stay in the last 3 years and was all I hoped it would be. I was pulled to the hotel by the location right on the shores of Lough Leane as Killarney National Park and environs are my fave places to ramble and the views while dining or relaxing on the rear side of the hotel just can't be beat.
The hotel is very well staffed - friendly, helpful and efficient folks who add so much to the overall experience. My room was spacious, clean and quiet with such a comfortable bed that was very welcoming after long days hiking and walking. The hot water was plentiful and at good pressure, Wi-Fi was strong and reliable and the room was quiet and dark for sleeping.
As I was 100% focussed on enjoying the outdoor life that Killarney has to offer as opposed to the charms of the town itself I took all my meals at the hotel. They were of uniformly high quality with sufficient variety to keep me well contented over the 4 nights of my visit. As noted above, in the restaurant or bar you can have spectacular views out over Lough Leane to the mountains beyond that just elevate whatever experience you are having.
The only quibble I had was the cost of getting laundry done. There were two partially full bags of basic items that cost 50 Euro. This seemed steep for me BUT I really have no baseline for costing of laundry in Ireland.
Nevertheless I would stay here again as it's a great spot with great staff."
"This hotel is a gem. The rooms are beautiful and the location is perfect. Easy to park on-site, or nearby. The bed and pillows are top notch and luxurious. The hotel amenities (restaurant, bars, cafe) are high quality and serve delicious food. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. We are very glad we chose to stay here and definitely recommend it."
"WE LOVED THE QUANTENANCE OF THE PROPERTY, THE BAR BELOW AND THE SHOPPING AND SITES ALL AROUND THE PROPERTY. THE FURNITURE, ROOM AND BED WERE OUTDATED BUT IT LED TO AN OLD FASHIONED EVENING IN A CUTE SMALL TOWN. THE STAFF TREATED US GREAT AND EVEN GOT US A FAB TO HELP THE ROOM GET COOL."
"The entire team at Hotel Killarney were incredible, whether it was checking in or the sloe berry bar, the team were fantastic, the hotel is located so central to a bunch of amazing sights, I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to stay and explore the ring of Kerry, the rooms are spacious modern; comfortable and quiet. Also a quiet word for the Sloe Berry bar, the food was impeccable and the staff so friendly and helpful, we felt no need to venture out to any other restaurants "
" We were planning this trip “on the fly” booking rooms as we went. Was VERY pleased to have booked House 15. The rooms were wonderfully appointed, bathroom was spacious with modern fixtures and amenities.
Breakfast is offered in the beautiful wine bar connected to the hotel. The breakfast spread had lovely fresh fruit, varieties of meat, cheeses and breads, as well as eggs/bacon to order."
