Located in an industrial part of the city of Lubbock, the property seemed very safe, particularly given that there was no foot traffic nearby and nothing commercial within a mile. The rooms are spartan, but the bed was incredibly comfortable. This is a great cost-saving overnight stay motel.

As an older couple, we appreciated the quiet, safe feeling. It was very well lit at night. The room is simple but we found it comfortable and very clean. The shower has great pressure. No bugs at all of any kind was nice too.

If I'm beong honest the exterior made me nervous when i pulled in, but the people were very nice and accomodating and the room was clean and comfortable. Inwould definitely stay there again.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed my stay at an affordable rate over a football weekend. The area around the hotel is very empty, and I felt safe here.

Nothing to complain about!

This motel was a lot nicer than the price reflects. Very clean, no bad smells or anything else usually associated with lower priced hotels. Stay here if you’re on a budget.

So, I was a bit hesitant about this place initially, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff member who checked me in was nice and prompt. The room, even though it was designated for smokers, did not have a bad odor. The rest of the room was clean, the A/C worked well, the WiFi worked well, and the water was steady and consistently hot. I would book here again.

This motel was VERY CLEAN! Staff was great, the area was quiet and on the outskirts of town, away from all the commerce, which makes it quiet, but a little inconvenient if you want to go out for a midnight snack. I felt very safe there; no riff-raff. My only complaints: the bed was lumpy and too firm for me, no hair dryer, no conditioner.

The room was clean, the bed and pillows were ok...just a little lumpy....the shower was very good..the TV was a bit small, but had adequate sound...the a/c & heating was very good!.... location was far away,...overall it was a pretty good stay...none of the other guests were noisy or bothersome too...

Clean and Friendly

The floor tile was beautiful. The room was clean. Would have liked at least a small coffee pot in the room as there is no breakfast offered and nothing around to grab a quick one but there is a fridge and microwave. Overall a good room.

We chose to stay at the Scottish Inn because I waited too long to book anywhere to stay for my daughter’s graduation. The reviews all said that it was clean so I took a chance. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was much closer to campus and my daughter’s house in Tech Terrace than I thought it would be. For the price, I thought it was a great value and I would not hesitate to stay there again. Thank you!

The motel is located near several 4 lane highways allows easy access... I stayed there on Friday night but traffic in the area was light and it was very quiet.. It is an older property and if you are looking for amenities beyond a clean room, go somewhere else. But if you want a good price and very friendly hosts, this is your place. The owner was very helpful in directing me to places I was going... I will stay there anytime I'm in Lubbock....
