Booked this property due to its quaint atmosphere. The room was a good size and beds were super comfortable. We stayed on the 2nd floor and there was a coffee bar/water a short distance from our room. This stay was enjoyable. Plus they have an Italian restaurant connected to the inn that has amazing food. We will definitely stay again when we are in town.

Second time staying here in the downtown of Gonzales. It is a great location. Clean hotel with minimal amenities, but we were hardly in the room. The movie theater is across the square along with Come and Take it bar and grill across the street. The food there is great. Not sure when it was converted into a hotel, but we love it. Also, visit The Nighowl craft beer bar right around the corner. All of this plays into a great small charm feeling. Then there is Ottine Springs about 20 minutes away from Gonzales square.

This hotel is next to an Italian restaurant. Free parking everywhere around the hotel. Other bar and grill and restaurants walking distance from hotel. Lots of antique shops. The room was nicely decorated. The plumbing in the tub needs work: tub spout leaks when using the shower. The shower head leaks when being used. Other than that its a nice little room for one or two people.
