Booked this property due to its quaint atmosphere. The room was a good size and beds were super comfortable. We stayed on the 2nd floor and there was a coffee bar/water a short distance from our room. This stay was enjoyable. Plus they have an Italian restaurant connected to the inn that has amazing food. We will definitely stay again when we are in town.

This hotel is next to an Italian restaurant. Free parking everywhere around the hotel. Other bar and grill and restaurants walking distance from hotel. Lots of antique shops. The room was nicely decorated. The plumbing in the tub needs work: tub spout leaks when using the shower. The shower head leaks when being used. Other than that its a nice little room for one or two people.

It’s a lovely boutique hotel that has historic origins but has been fitted out very nicely now as a hotel. The attached Italian restaurant is excellent - we had two meals there and thoroughly enjoyed each. There is no staff to deal with - a lady came from the restaurant to let us our room key and we never saw anyone then. Lots of history in the area - 20 minutes to Shiner and the Spoetzel brewery for the tours there. 10 minutes from the Ottine Mineral Springs Spa. We’ve recommended it to friends travelling soon to the area.

The hotel was nicely decorated and looked clean. Available & free parking. But had to speak to someone in the next door restaurant to obtain assistance. No one ever at the front desk. Our bathroom cabinet was broken, the chain to turn off the fan in the room was broken so couldn’t stop the fan without turning off the bedroom light. Initially our tv remote didn’t work but they immediately fixed it. Just wish staff was more available so we could also ask about the town and obtain info.

My fiancé and I stayed here for a night for our anniversary after we visited the nearby mineral springs. We were able to check in early which was nice, it gave us more time to check out the town. The coffee bar in the halls were well stocked and had great coffee blends. We also had a nice dinner at the Italian restaurant downstairs. Overall we had a great stay. Both he and I agreed we’d like to stay here again. Thank you!

Very pretty hotel and very clean and pretty rooms. We never really saw any staff there and I think it must be owned by the people who have the restaurant next-door. But all in all very easy check in check out and very comfortable. Stay. Highly recommend.
