New construction 2015 with private ocean view decks, WiFi HD TV. King sized beds. Self contained suite with mini kitchen total square footage of each suite is about 400 sq'. We are very close to Baker Beach and the Hiking trail at Francis Point Provincial Park. Both of these destinations offer great Ocean views and beach combing. Just to be clear, if you book through VRBO you are booking Suite #1 from this listing but if you want to book suite #2 (also shown in photos) -- CHECK AVAILABILITY ON OUR SECOND SUITE PLEASE CHECK VRBO LISTING NUMBER 701924.

A few changes we want our guests to be aware of for our 2021 season and beyond, for our returning guests we ask you please read the details below so you aware of our new policies.

We are NO LONGER serving or including breakfast options with your stay.
At arrival your hosts will greet you outside to discuss any details or questions you may have regarding your suite or things to do in the area.
Check out is still at 11am but we do need to start our turn over promptly after this check out time to prepare for our next guests.

Please note our suites are NOT really set up for a lot of cooking like frying foods but we do offer an outside BBQ however.

A Wonderful Location and a Comfortable Stay
I highly recommend this location if you are planning a trip to the Sunshine Coast. It was an hour drive from the Langdale Ferry Terminal but once you are there, every place you might want to visit is a 30-40 minute drive from Madiera Park. The suite was very comfortable with a nice deck to relax on with a fantastic ocean view. Bed was very comfortable. Please be aware there is no full kitchenette for use in the suite. There is a small fridge, coffee grinder, coffee maker, and a larger toaster oven. While we did not require a microwave oven, someone else may have expected that. There are multiple places for you to eat out and the grocery store is only a 7 minute drive. Wayne and Kathy were fantastic hosts - they were always available to answer questions and give advice. When we checked in we were given a lovely fruit plate. Kathy also treated us to homemade baking throughout our stay. There is a wonderful little beach only a 5-minute walk from the property. The water was calm and warm during the time we stayed there (July 17-21). There were also blackberry bushes that were ripening that you could pick from. We would defijitely stay there again on our next trip to the Sunshine Coast!

Spacious and comfortable. Close access to a semi’ secluded beach. We travelled on motorcycles and the host generously offer the use of his spacious garage to protect the bikes from possible rain and gave us good info on scenic roads.

Wayne and Kathy were such great hosts. Wayne immediately came out to greet us as soon as we drove up. He helped with luggage and gave us a quick tour of our suite... pointed out the cookies Kathy had waiting for us... and then took our order for breakfast. But wait... eggs to order and room service? Yep! And breakfast was so good... and more freshly baked items. The suite was spacious and comfortable with a nice view of the ocean. And it was sooo quiet. One of the best B&B's we have ever stayed at.

Amazing location!
Wayne and Kathy were fantastic hosts! They greeted us and showed us the suite and gave us some helpful tips for the area. There was lots of information on where to eat and what to do, located in the suite. The suite itself is located very close to the beautiful Baker Beach. Kathy and Wayne whipped up an excellent breakfast both mornings and brought it right up to our suite! I would highly recommend their location for your next stay. Thank you so much, Wayne and Kathy!

Get Your Butt to the Sunshine Coast!!!
Where to begin.....Wayne met us and directed us to our suite. Gave us a quick overview of our place and quick overview of things to do in the area. We indulged in some homemade cookies that Kathy made for us and they were yummy . The view off our balcony was fantastic and we felt the ocean breeze right away. We wandered off to Skookumchuk Narrows, (which was near Egmont) that evening with clear expectations of the area from Wayne. The breakfast the next morning and all the other mornings was filling and delicious. Wayne and Kathy were very flexible with breakfast times. They were also sensitive to dietary needs ( that we didn't need) but Wayne and Kathy were on it. The room was spacious, sparkling clean, had a comfortable bed and the bathroom hosted a most wonderful shower. The town was small and quaint and had everything you needed. The next day we went biking to John Henry in Garden Bay (18km away) The ups are horrible the downs are lovely. The landscape of our bike ride was just gorgeous. The traffic was a little dicey. I challenge all of you to find the white tiger someone has placed on the way to Garden Bay area. (I thought it was real) The next day we went to Sechelt and wandered around there at the well known craft fair. Later in the day we went to the Grasshopper pub for supper that had the most amazing view from the patio deck. The food was very good too. On Sunday we hiked Mt. Daniel. It's a tough hike up for an hour but the view is worth it. After the hike we we drove to the tiny village of Egmont to the restaurant called The Back Eddy where we indulged in the clam chowder and had live music. The view at the Back Eddy along the water was breathtaking. Our overall experience with Wayne and Kathy in Madeira Park was perfect. They have a beautiful Bed and Breakfast and they are wonderful hosts.

A Little Piece of Heaven on the Sunshine Coast
My husband & I booked the Baker Beach Bed & Breakfast in Madeira Park for 3 days of R & R. It did not disappoint! We felt spoiled and did not want to leave. We were greeted by Wayne when we drove up & shown around our suite. The suite was beautifully decorated with an amazing ocean view. A bonus is that eaxh suite is fully equipped with a fridge, dishes, tables outside & on the deck & a small counter style convection oven to allow guests to purchase their own food & to prepare light meals for lunch and/or dinner. Our first night, we chose to join Wayne & Kathy for dinner and they prepared a delicious meal of Maui ribs for us complete with apple berry crumble ala mode for dessert. Yum! Breakfast each morning was equally impressive with fruits, yogurts, eggs and homemade baked goods. Guests may dine downstairs or in their own suites. We did both & enjoyed the morning conversation with our fellow guest and hosts. The location is easy to find & perfect for exploring the Sunshine Coast. We completed trips to Francis Pensisula Park, Baker Beach, Mt. Daniel, Kathryn Lake, Sechelt Inlet and Davis Bay over our 3 day stay. It was lovely to come home each evening and enjoy the solitude. Each night I enjoyed a cup of tea on the deck while savoring the beautiful ocean view & sunset. We highly recommend Baker Beach suites as a getaway for your next vacation! We would love to stay here again!

Summer Long Weekend Getaway!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Baker B & B! Wayne and Kathy are such kind and welcoming hosts! Our cooked breakfast each morning set us up perfectly for a day of hiking and swimming in the local lakes! We enjoyed their famous and delicious wood fired pizza while a family of deer wandered by on the lawn…all the while a cruise ship was sailing by in the distance!! The setting is so peaceful…a true break from everyday life! We look forward to returning again in the near future! Thanks Again!

From the minute we arrived we were impressed with the hospitality of Wayne and Kathy and our beautiful and immaculate suite. We loved this place.
This B & B is top notch and owned by some of the kindest people ever. My husband and I stayed here 3 nights and it was the best bed and breakfast experience to date. Not only that, but Kathy and Wayne are both musicians, and we ended up playing music together one evening, which was great fun. This location was practically perfect in every way for us, as it served as a gateway to adventure for kayaking and hiking on the Sunshine Coast. The bay view from our suite was lovely and the soft sea breezes flowed in the windows at night, the call of loons and sea birds echoing. Ok, and the breakfasts we were served were healthy and delicious. I cannot recommend them enough. These are two very talented people. They have made a lovely place even more so by their wood craft and artfully prepared food. Did I mention they are the nicest people? :)

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Baker Beach B&B. Cathy and Wayne were truly wonderful hosts, not at all intrusive but very friendly and helpful. The meals they provided (breakfasts and a fantastic wood-fired pizza dinner) were excellent, delicious home-cooked food. The location is great, on a hill with a lovely south-facing view and a short walk to Baker Beach. The room was spacious and clean and tastefully decorated with everything one needs for a weekend away. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic property, AMAZING hosts!
We had a wonderful stay at Kathy and Wayne's charming B&B. The views from their property are spectacular, the surrounding landscape is calming, and the hosts could not have been better. The two units are pristine, spacious, comfortable, and charmingly decorated. They served us a wonderful and nutritious breakfast each day, and we thoroughly enjoyed their company and conversation each morning. Both Kathy and Wayne are well versed in the area, and were able to provide us with excellent tips concerning hikes, activities, community events, dining options, and travel. Baker Beach is just below their property, is walkable, and is a beautiful and serene little cove. In addition to the wonderful property and delicious food, which included fresh baked homemade treats daily, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the area. So much to see, explore, and experience nearby, making their home a perfect base of operation and place to rest and recharge. We would definitely return and we wholeheartedly give them 6 stars out of 5:)

We had a marvellous time, The suite was lovely, great ocean view, spacious and bright, not to mention delightful homemade cookies. Perfect place on the Sunshine Coast!
We absolutely adored our temporary abode while spending a long weekend on the Sunshine Coast. Kathy & Wayne were by far the most wonderful hosts, ensuring we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, and we were welcomed by delicious home-baked treats compliments of Kathy. We also really loved our breakfasts that were prepared fresh daily, and the home-made granolas we received as our snacks for the day.The location is superb, with a 5 minute walk to a beach nearby. You can sit outside on the balcony of your room and just listen to the beautiful songs from birds - it is just that peaceful and quiet there! We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Sunshine Coast - you will not be disappointed! Thank you Kathy & Wayne for making us feel like home!!! We can't wait to be back!

Perfect accommodation. Very friendly hosts and delicious breakfasts.
Spent three nights here. The room had a great view and was clean, quiet and spacious. Wayne and Kathy were wonderful hosts. Kathy cooked us delicious breakfasts and it was most enjoyable spending our breakfasts with them.They have a vast knowledge of the area. Wayne is a very skilled woodworker and it was interesting to see his great handiwork on display. This is one of the nicest places we have stayed at and we hope to return next year.
