Hotel Emperador
Was initially given a room with a view of a wall in a internal courtyard. After complaining they gave me a higher floor with a partial view of the city. Hotel is wedged into an awkward spot so only premium rooms have views. Pool was closed. Location v central but too many ppl there

Hotel Riu Plaza España
Excellent hotel. Room was very clean and comfortable. The doorman ( afternoon shifts) made our staying very pleasant and her daughter was very nice too. She worked at the 360 rooftop. Thank you

Novotel Madrid Center
Breakfast was incredible and I believe kids eat for free. Location is very central and the front desk was helpful. Not a hotel for you if you are seeking cultural charm, but very comfortable and easy. Room was not spectacular but was serviceable.
