The building has an amazing history, the smokehouse history was fun to learn about, and the town had an event called "first Friday" where local bands and vendors showcased on Friday night, and our host was always attentive to our needs, available, and pleasant. "The property was spacious and had all the amenities we needed for our short trip to VA. I couldnt believe how big the beds and bedrooms were! The only downside was that the reserved parking spot rules arent followed at the building. We had to park on the street. Thankfully it was close and that didnt cause any issues."

"This hotel was easy to get to, staff was super nice and the beds were really comfortable! I didn't need to contact the host for anything but felt like I could if I needed to. A Lyft into the Wharf was quick and only 20 bucks. Breakfast is very simple, but good."

"Location was amazing, less than a block away from the metro. The space was exactly as shown in the pictures. The onsite concierge for the complex was amazing and communication with host was primarily via phone/email. Only downside was that the cleaners were just getting started as we were checking in, but they were quick and thorough and finished within a few hours."

My only thoughts are that the comforter seemed kind of shabby and the blinds are broken in the bedroom, leaving an opening that streams light in. "Very nice space, looks like just renovated. Brand new kitchen appliances, great shower, convenient bed set up in the bedroom. Our family of 4 wife slept on big bed, 6 year old in the bunk, 3 year old on the trundle, and me on the couch. The TV in the main room is about 65 inches. Provided snacks and some sodas, plenty of towels, pillows, and blankets. Host was very easy to contact and responded very quickly. A grocery store is in walking distance and train station is a mere 2 minutes driving....

"There was an issue with the toilet, and we called it in several times, but no one showed to fix it. I was concerned due the constant running of water through the toilet tank that wouldn't shut off after you flushed, so there was a wasted water and constant toilet noise. Additionally, some of the light bulbs were blown and need replaced. Also, the shower-liner for the tub should have been change, as it was pretty dirty. Other than that, we had a really nice stay."

"Did not receive check in instructions. Called the owner and he helped us check in but was definitely irritated and hurried to end the call. Did not understand that there was laundry or parking permit until we received the check out instructions."

"Love the settings to set up the place Management was Awesome anything I needed they were always there to answer that phones To see to my needs, it's peaceful there a home away from home. "The condo was clean, beds comfortable. The only real critique were squeaky doors (pantry was very loud) we never could get the heat/air right but I believe it was operator error. We were very happy with access to everything we wanted to see and do. The owner was very accommodating."
