This hotel is right off King St. and doesn't have a drive-up area for checking in. I drove my car, but was parking off property. I pulled into the only area in front of the hotel and went inside to ask the front desk (Angela) where I was supposed to leave my car during check-in. Angela's customer service skills were significantly lacking, she initially just snottily said that area was for valet only without answering my question. I reiterated that I only needed my car to be there long enough to check-in and bring my bags up to the room. After a terse exchange, she said I could leave it there for 5 minutes and insisted that I leave her my keys. My situation couldn't have been that uncommon, but Angela's attitude needs attention. My low score for "staff" is solely because of her, all the other staff were quite pleasant.
This hotel does not have ice machines. You can ask the front desk and they provide very small bags of ice (smaller than a gallon zip-lock).
Their "coffee service" was just a Kuric machine. During my stay all they had were decaff k-cups, and the only creamer was powdered packets.
Standard King room was small (European size), but was clean and bed was quite comfortable. The shower was okay, but shower head was not adjustable, and spray pattern/stream was weak. The "refrigerator" was not a typical freon based mini fridge, rather just a useless drawer that was not cold at all.
Street and hallway noise was quite noticeable.
I won't be staying here again.
