“Feminine used sanitary products filled the bathroom bin. Half eaten takeaway fish and chips in the fridge. Washing machine has a full load of bedding in it. There was quite a few opened jars, tubs and dry cooking ingredients in the fridge and cupboard. The room is comfortably furnished, could do with another arm chair. The cooker, microwave, toaster are all clean and work well. The bed was freshly made, the mattress a little too soft for me (personal preference). There is a Morrisons local...

“We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. ”

“The service was great, though my suggestion is that it is difficult to pair with an extended stay when you booked a short stay. The long-stay owners were extremely loud on the last day. Overall, a three-star from me, just because the service was good.”

“Would definitely recommend Garden View. Its a beautiful space, very cozy, quiet & comfortable. It's finished to a very high standard with everything you need for a self-catering break. Views from the garden are stunning & a great location for exploring Pembrokeshire. Lovely welcome from the host & a very thoughful welcome pack, including hot cross buns for Easter. “Nice stay at this cosy hotel. Good location & great parking - situated nicely between Saundersfoot & Tenby. Friendly staff, nice brekkie & recommended if you are visiting the area & don’t want to be in the middle of it all but still easily accessible if you want to go into either place. Very nice!”

“Clean, fresh room. Staff polite and friendly. Great amenities. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Bar a little short staffed on Saturday night meaning a bit of a wait for service and tables were not cleared at all, but otherwise a lovely stay and would recommend. ”

“Room was tidied every day, most of the staff were very helpful. There is plenty of parking round back of hotel if you can get a spot.. we were lucky. Personally I think you should get breakfast or lunch or evening meal in with the price otherwise it gets a bit expensive”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It’s in a peaceful location, yet conveniently close to local shops. The travel cot and high chair were provided, which we appreciated. However, the cot came packed away, and the second bedroom didn’t have much space to set it up comfortably. We also noticed that the cottage didn’t have baby gates, which would have been helpful. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed when a wine glass broke in the dishwasher through no fault of our own, yet we...

“It sounds trite but this is truly a gem of a hotel. Beautiful location, quiet, lovely gardens, very comfortable room and first class service throughout the hotel, from welcome at reception to saying goodbye. Restaurant (Artisan Room) was very good, the staff here so very helpful and lovely with it. Food is fresh, local and well prepared and served. Could not fault it. Good wine list too. It's a beautiful old house and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”
