"My visit to Shagri-La in June 2025 was my first visit to Fiji & my first resort experience. And it was a delight. As I am sure is the same at every Fiji resort, the staff were lovely, friendly, helpful & hard working. The facilities were great - not state of the art & brand spanking new - but as advertised and equivalent to the rates paid. Highly recommend to stay at adults only end to anyone travelling w/o children given the access to the quiet pool, the reef, & away from the noise & family chaos. Yes, it is a bit more of a walk (or buggy ride) to the restaurants etc but is worth it! Having said that, the rooms were quiet & you couldn’t hear your neighbours unless out on the balcony or if someone walked noisily past your door. The breakfast buffet was fabulous but if you are desperate for a ‘proper’ coffee, not the filtered variety, you will need to show a level of patience. This is not a Melbourne barista cafe but rather operates on Fiji time. Having said that, you are here to relax & enjoy, so what’s the rush?! It didn’t bother me that I was pretty much finished breakfast by the time my coffee arrived each morning, but I could see others were annoyed. Can highly recommend the Indian restaurant, and BBG was also fab & those two had the best service. The Asian restaurant you do need to book early. What’s not well known is that the reef is just out your door. Put on a snorkel & put your head underwater & be amazed by the sea life where the water is knee deep"

"There were adult areas so plenty of quiet spaces amongst the many families. We thoroughly enjoyed our childless time in the many quiet spaces especially the pool and bar for adults only. Food was good and staff were fantastic "

"The location is perfect, close to shops and restaurants. We loved the atmosphere, the veranda overlooking the flowing water feature which is very relaxing, and the vegetable garden is a plus. The owner, as well as his dogs, were friendly. The owner even recommended the jetty nearby where we took a dip the following day. This property is trully a hidden gem in the Sigatoka area! Highly recommended! The only problem we have encountered was finding it on the first day. The owner should put a signage leading to his property. Other than that, all went well."

"We had an absolutely amazing family stay at the beach house. Slight miscommunication with our rooms but the staff dealt with it professionally and ensured we were comfortable had what we needed. The kids loved the kayaks, snorkelling, table tennis and horse riding. We will definitely be back! Beautiful place, wonderful staff!"
