Clean room, friendly staff

Wonderful overall. Easy walk to Kew Gardens.

The owners were very helpful navigating the area, including a ride to the airport when it was time to leave. The room was very comfortable, and the bathroom was recently updated.

Excellent location next to Paddington Station. Lots of great restaurants around. Buses easily available. HopOnHopOff bus stops right in front of the hotel. Hyde Park is a ten minute walk. The downside, as others have stated, is that the rooms are small; two of us couldn't open our suitcases at the same time. The bathroom had glass in the door, which is fine if you're alone, but not fine if you're sharing a room. The inside of the hotel is a maze to get to your room. It's noisy at night, with sounds from the street and people. However, staff were very helpful, particularly in carrying our bags up and down the stairs.

We stayed in a renovated room that was large and comfortable. The front desk staff and restaurant staff were very helpful and courteous. We would stay again.
