One of the highlights of our trip was hiking up to the Sandy Lake Fire Tower, which offered an unforgettable view of the surrounding nature.As an East African family, this type of retreat isn’t something we grew up with, but staying here allowed us to create new traditions together. "Had a great stay. Outside area was a decent size and where we spent most of our time. House definitely needs a few updates/fixes but it works as a place to sleep. Would of been nice to have a dehumidifier or something because it was very damp smelling. Atv trails were very close so that was nice. "

"Wonderful cabin and location! Dave was a fantastic host. Loved having the pontoon boat available. Boat instructions were perfect and easy to follow. Caught bass, perch, bluegill and crappie. Weather was cooler than expected, so fire pit was enjoyed! Check out the Block North Brewery and Restaurant. We considered it a bonus find on our trip. Awesome food, beer and extensive menu. A must do in Aitkin! Highly recommend Sullivan Lake Chalet!"
