The room was spacious the bed and bedding, towels clean and good condition unfortunately the carpet was very very dirty. The bathroom basin wasn’t draining as it should and the shower recess could have been cleaner. We could only get a few channels on tv. The parking across from rooms was a swamp land after rain and was an unsealed surface. These issues should not reflect on the working staff perhaps the owners. Despite the room being a non smoking room, it smelt of smoke. The bathroom, shower and sky light in particular were covered in black mould. I was so disgusted that I showered in my socks. The room appeared otherwise clean but was in desperate need of love - walls dinted, holes were mended with dodgy platering and paint, general scuffing. Slept with the light on beacuse I was unsure if the door was actually locked or not.
