“My main goal was to watch the stars and look through my telescope little did i know i would get to see a very prominent moon while sitting on the deck and it was awh inspiring its a beautiful spot to stay , it was peaceful and organic with an updated cabin which was awesome nice bed and a kitchenette cabinet with almost all utensils , big sink in the bathroom brand new toilet and walk in shower . ”

“The Shepherd’s Hut is a well appointed with puzzles the kids loved and a great plastic pool! Samantha is a fantastic host and the kids loved the farm and the animals, especially the peacocks! Highly recommended. TV had football so our teenager was happy! Very close to Glen Rose, Fossil Rim, and Dinosaur Valley. A wonderful stay.”

“The Cabin was as described and as it was online, very clean and spacious. The hot tub was a plus for sure. The next Cabin is a good distance away so privacy wasnt an issue. The only issue is that the train tracks actually run pretty close by, it gets really really loud when the trains pass by, if that bothers you, this is probably not the best place for you. Other than that, good spot for solitude and some quiet time. ”

“We loved our stay here. The cabin is so cute and clean. The animals are fun to see. It's just a very short walk down to the riverwalk which is great! The only negative I have is there wasn't much light in the bathroom. Hard to see anything in the mirror but there is a vanity in the bedroom with a light. Breakfast in the barn was so cool!! We would stay again. ”

“Awesome place, awesome town, perfect location!My wife and visited for the JCW car show and we had a great time. Never moved my truck, everything was walking distance and within 2-3 blocks. “We loved our stay here at La Palmilla. Our daughter was so excited she kept telling us she didn’t want to sleep. It’s a beautiful property and felt like we weren’t in Texas. Loved that it was dog friendly, and the wide open space around was so relaxing. We also saw some deer roaming around. We met the owners and they were so kind. It's close to all of the Glen Rose spots and we would definitely return. ”
