"Just beautiful. So peaceful and relaxing. We didn’t see another person although we were in a gated community. Only heard the birds. The cabin warms up easily with propane fireplace. Stayed with my sister and was comfortable and could see a small family being so as well. Recommend: take the drive to Yosemite. We also enjoyed a paddle boat trip around Lake Pinecrest. Stop at Walmart in Sonora before driving out to cabin. Get gas anywhere but the Chevron before you turn into housing addition. Be prepared to use blender to grind coffee (no big deal) and there are no extras in kitchen - so pick up anything you might need if you’re cook or baking or storing food (again, typical practice). Any other needs, feel free to reach out to owner- he is very responsive. "

"We had a fantastic stay at the Cosy Cottage in Longbarn with our family of five. The host was exceptional at communicating - they provided clear directions, check-in instructions, and were quick to respond to any questions we had about the property. The cottage was perfectly sized for our family and very comfortable. Our kids absolutely loved the Nintendo system, which kept them entertained during downtime. The location was ideal for our mountain activities - super convenient to both Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, making it easy to enjoy both summer and winter recreation. The property was spotlessly clean and truly lived up to its "cosy" name. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for cooking family meals. Having a functional kitchen saved us money on dining out and allowed us to enjoy home-cooked meals together. Overall, this cottage provided everything we needed for a comfortable mountain getaway. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other families looking for a convenient, well-maintained home base for exploring the area."

"We were happy to return to Sierra Park for July 4. From this cabin (house) we could easily walk to the playground, basketball court, and pond. Because it is a private subdivision, no crowds! House has all you need for a family trip, with something for all ages (children's books and games, nice library choices for the beach or porch, and the downstairs game room with ping pong, pool, and kids' air hockey). We also appreciated the kitchen equipment and good pans. So often that is a problem in vacation rentals. The communications were always prompt. We are all so happy with our choice of this cabin and are glad something this large was available. "
